This wooden cross has been stained with a natural finish to bring out its natural beauty. Real sand from Oak Island, NC was mixed with resin and poured into the interior of the cross for the lower half of the cross. Blue mica powder was added to the upper half of the cross to create a beach scene within the cross. An oyster shell was painted with a clear shellac to bring out its beauty as well as show its magnificent colors! During the curing process of the resin, the oyster was added to the transom of the cross.
