This wooden cross has been painted gray. Real sand from Oak Island, NC was mixed with resin and poured into the interior of the cross. An oyster shell was painted with a clear shellac to bring out its beauty as well and show its magnificent colors! During the curing process of the resin, the oyster was added to the transom of the cross. The oyster completes the cross as it adds a touch of class and dimension to this unique piece.
